You have taken my money and not supplied the items I required. It is six months since I requested these items, and you have failed to keep your word.

Hi Glen, love your collection of Windsor banjo's they're a great piece of history! I have an "Ideal Model No.8" as you do, however my neck has bowed and my action is uncomfortably high. I've been meaning to get it restored but do not know if it has a truss rod, being such an old instrument.

Hi Glen, I also have a Matthews fretless banjo 12.25" head engraved hoop, 2 8" scale, original Matthews tailpiece with mother of pearl flower, 3 part sectioned neck, original engraved and filled tuners. 5 point star and dot neck inlays, crescent moon peghead inlays, neck side fret position dot inlays. Been trying to find out a bit more about it for 50 years. It has the serial number 069. Anything you can tell me please?

Re your Windsor "Porthole" banjo with the missing badge. I have one with the badge which has a patent number and a date, April 1928. This thread also puts them as late 1930s - scroll to the bottom for a catalogue page and photos of instrument and badge. Hope that's useful - it took me some time to discover that these were not early 20th century, but rather later.
